This unfortunate story brings up the issue of political correctness. On the one hand, we should never target minorities or anyone who "looks suspicious" out of fear or bigotry. However, we also need to make sure we don't bend over so far backwards that we let criminals walk all over us because of White guilt.

Suppress that.
You mean like OJ Simpson and Michael Vick?

It's really sad. Instead of condemning the obvious racial motivation involved, they bring up Al Sharpton.

If Sharpton had a royalty agreement with the Internet - a penny for every time his name was mentioned - dude would be the world's richest man.

Criminals walk over you? Get a grip..You act as if no white man has ever "gotten off"..There's never outrage or media coverage of that. By the way, Vick is finising a 2 year prison term.

You mean they haven't been punished severely for what they have done? Last I heard, both were in custody of the judicial system..........

I am still waiting for an apology from jackson for the duke case. I am guessing that at this point, it won't come.

Didn't know you were on the Duke Lacrosse team? I know you know and do EVERYTHING but damn.
