So are Michael Steele and Clarence Thomas, guess you missed it.
Sowell knows as much about the "liberal mindset" as any other rightwinger, I'd assume, which is next to nothing. But he probably knows alot about conservatives.
Besides scholarly writing, Sowell has written books, articles and syndicated columns for a general audience, in such publications as Forbes Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and major newspapers. Sowell primarily writes on economic subjects, generally advocating a free market approach to capitalism. Sowell, a former Marxist, now opposes Marxism, providing a critique in his book Marxism: Philosophy and Economics. He also argues that, contrary to popular perception, Marx never held to a labor theory of value.

He provides empirical evidence of failed liberal policies of the past and their insistence on promoting these policies over and over again. Perhaps you should read the book.
I've read some of his articles in the past. In my estimation, he is part of the large chorus of rightwingers who really dont know much about anything, and if this is the case, it follows that he likely would know even less about what a liberal thinks. What makes him more unique than others is he is a right wing water carrier and he is black, which sometimes is used to elevate his status among the right because there are so few of them, and for good reason. They oppose helping those most in need, usually blacks and other minorities, along with a growing number of whites, but like I said earlier, some people have a price and can ignore all that. (Kind of like academics, scientists and "researchers" who deny climate change, they also have a price)
It's pretty laughable the minority, right wing conservative viewpoint, but like all good freakshows, it's worth a passing glance
So you are saying that he doesnt know a liberal's mindset. Yet you are claiming that rightwingers know next to nothing.
How many threads are started on City-Data by liberals,Dems, Commies, Socialists, criminals, etc. purporting to know whats best for the GOP?Hush now.
Thanks Synopsis, gonna check it out.
I hate labels, because I believe that common sense has no labels. You might side with one group on a particular issue and disagree on another. As for the GOP, that label has become synonomous with bigotry, hypocrisy, self serving and distortion of truth. So as far as what is best for the GOP, since they are on the verge of extinction, they should just crawl under a rock and quietly wait for the end.
Wow! You have made the time to read all of a particular person's posts? You are diligent.
The truth really hurts you people doesn't it...
