In its first report to Congress, the Wartime Contracting Commission presents a bleak assessment of how tens of billions of dollars have been spent since 2001. The 111-page report, obtained by The Associated Press, documents poor management, weak oversight, and a failure to learn from past mistakes as recurring themes in wartime contracting.

And about as dumb as one, too. And taking a step down the scale, there are the people who voted for him, and bringing up the rear, the people who still defend him. Eight years of disgrace and failure happened on Bush's watch. That about covers it...

Huh! We haven't seen anything yet. Give it 4 years and you can complain about the next Republican president.

You expect to elect a Presidential candidate on the strength of a bunch of religious whackjobs and knee-jerk social dropouts? Good luck with that...

Well let's look at history as there is quite a few parallels. If you go back to th Nixon era you have a President that resigned and the chances of Republican being elected after him was slim to none. Having said that McCain didn't do too bad considering the economic climate...

Then you have Jimmy Carter AKA Obama come in stumble around for few years accomplishing nothing and making things worse.

Enter Reagan in the 80's with a monstrous victory both terms.

History shall repeat itself.
