No, I knew I was going to pay higher taxes under Obama but if it meant ending the war and curbing outsourcing to provide Americans with jobs, it was worth it. Now, that he isn't doing any of that, it's pointless to vote for him.
They have as much right to ask this question as you do to say they shouldnt.

No the simple thing would be not to clutter up the board creating threads that have already been created multiple times; besides the fact that the TOS ask us to search to make sure the topic hasn't been discussed already before creating a thread. i would say this question has been covered.

That is what my father says. He says that the Bush tax cuts maybe saved him 2,000 to 2,500. But he would have gladly paid that if it meant:
1) No Iraq War
2) Economy not getting to this point
3) No outsourcing/Americans not getting jobs
4) Universal Health Care

I think I get where you are coming from.
I'm going to be paying nearly 20K more in taxes under Obama but like your father, I thought it was worth it if he was going to do what he promised namely bringing our kids home from the war, and increasing jobs. Both are worse yet I'm still going to pay higher taxes for this. I made a huge mistake. Obama is done in 4 years because Independents and centrist Republicans will not make the same mistake again.

Yeah, I realized my mistake now. That would guarantee the Dems a win but the Republicans won't do that. I think Romney is running. He is being low key to avoid being a target early in the process like Palin but I guarantee he runs.

I'm glad that you're acknowledging that these "do you regret voting for Obama" threads are nothing more than just threads created to complain...not like that doesn't happen on every other thread...very rarely do I see someone give a reasonable post like this one...

If there were more intelligent comments instead of "Obama's a socialist who never spends time in the Oval Office because he's always playing golf and eating hamburgers" then maybe I wouldn't mind so much.

No, but you don't condemn those like you do these; I think that's jadex' complaint, and it is a legitimate one. If you're against bashing threads, you should be against all bashing threads. Fair and balanced; y'know?
