He says that he doesn't like government run and he doesn't like our current system so how about we work on a solution to our healthcare crisis instead of being stuck on one or the other.
Now Obama is surely not going to like your interpretation. He thinks the only to improve our system is with socialized medicine which is what his universal program is aimed at going toward.
That's my point. We have rationing of care here in this country, too. Just as in Canada. So the OP pointing to one case in Canada is entirely unpersuasive - and is just meant to sew FUD.
Our rationing is not that of bureaucrats as it will be when we get socialized medicine, however. Now we have some groups that provide insurance doing that but it isn't the same kind of rationing. Why can't so many of you people see that bureaucrats that have been appointed by politicians work only for those who appointed them? Somehow you seem to think they will be more truthful than those who are hired by insurance companies. All of them are willing to do what they have to do to keep their cushy jobs.
From what i've seen many people here who support a national health program know the least about how they work. They just have this image in there head that it will fix all the problems and everyone will live happily ever after.

I'm afraid that Facts have never gotten in the way of the Anti UHC brigade's argument. I have watched News reporters blatantly lie about the UK UHC and some gullable Americans believe them.
As someone who has lived and worked in Canada for more that 40 years I can verify both articles. My take home pay however was less than 82% of my gross earnings, probably because I was in a higher tax bracket.
My Family live in Canada and they cannot understand the Rubbish that is written by the American press about the Canadian Health System. There are some posters on here who think they know about other Countries Health Systems and have never lived there or used it.
