I think that a valid concern about the governor is that should she go on the trail giving speeches and holding rallies, et al, she might well incite violence among the more whacked of her fans.

They exist on a "Higher Moral Plain. Ethics, Honesty, Pro-Life...Religion...It's all there...and they don't fit because of that..

Honestly, a big reason why Barack Obama is now President Obama is because of the mess President Cheney made of everything ... McPalin didn't have a chance.
Just read the Vanity Fair article and it was pretty fluffy, no real substance, but a great read nontheless I bet if Papa Smurf had it all to do over again, he would have picked Tim Pawlenty. He still would have lost, but at least he wouldn't be the laughing stock he is now and the democratic party wouldnt' be thanking him for picking the queen of the tinfoil hat society.

I completely agree. Personally, I think Sarah Palin quit because Alaska no longer served her ambitions and because she wants the big money. I also think, however, that she has big political plans for herself. I think she will try to go to certain sections of the country, where her fans reside, and hold rallies. And I agree with you that she will fuel hate and rage--after all, that's what she does best. And since her fan base is primarily composed of uneducated, racist and/or evangelical nutjobs, she will be very successful. She has no chance, of course, of ever being POTUS. The people who support Sarah Palin are in a distinct minority--thank God. She can't win a national election without winning over liberal Republicans, moderates, and Libertarians. And she will never, ever be able to do that.

Well rumor has it this coward has high-tailed it...gone fishin'...on the trail of fish, rallying bears ....she's gone ...done a bunk like that other slob Republican...so maybe she's in South America or the Appalachian trail....but RUN AND HIDE SHE DID!
