do you mean the group that gov Palin belongs to in Alaska doesn't count?

How about the group that the Texas governor went to and supported there before the election? I guess that doesn't count either!

Wasn't Vermont talking about it back when Bush was in office? Seems like I remember something about it, not sure though.

Um no.

That's why the California Secession Movement has been around for many years.

Wonder why people started talking secession BEFORE Obama even signed any laws? Maybe it's because they couldn't accept the fact that they lost the election or that the man who was to lead them happened to have a funny name and dark skin.

Once again, you fail to understand history (because a simple google search would have shown you that secession movements have always been around)

At least 80% of the people talking secession are racists who can't accept a dark-skinned president and the rest were talking secession long before Obama took office.

In some other thread I worked this out proportionately. If a presidential term is 4 years long, and Obama has been in six months, then he's been in for 12 1/2% of his term. If you look at it as 4 days instead of 4 years, he's been in for about half a day.

So you all should try to tone down the ADHD and relax.

If you had done a Google search before you posted this bologna, you would have found page after page of secession articles and secessionist groups predating the Obama administration.

I'm a states rights guy. If a state wants to leave the Union, then let them. However, they've got to give back all of the federal money, military, and civil projects that were paid for first.

I don't think you'd see to many states willing to do that.

Actually, that is a little scary D. Because at the rate the man has been going with pushing his bills, he could completely reshape this country in 4 years. And that doesn't mean it will be a good change. Just saying, there is nothing wrong with taking notice of events already unfolding at this early hour in his presidency. Believe me, when he took office I was telling people to just chill out and give him a year before they started getting antsy. But I'm sorry, the moves he's been making are too big to ignore, and they definately seem to spell trouble for an already troubled nation. But, maybe I will be proven wrong. I certainly hope so.
