Regardless of what the bill says (and current govt run health care is a nightmare, whether you choose to believe it or not), someone will have to PAY for this. Ever think of that?!

That is not the current emotion. People are not worried about who will pay for this. They want their low cost insurance and they don't care how much it costs. Then again, neither does the government.
The costs will probably be similar to what SS and medicaid has turned into.
Then there will be three major social programs on the brink of running out of money.
You know, I'm not saying everyone will love this bill but if people stopped with the crazy talk and focused on the facts they may actually find legitimate things to gripe about. And that might lead to real dialog. And compromises might be made. And things might work out for everyone.

Government run health care is not a nightmare. Medicare works fine. VA Hospitals are the best in the nation. Our government officials and representatives have government run health care. Paying for it is not a problem as there are various ways to do it and if you were reading the right articles and listening to the people that know what they are talkng about you would know all of this.

Health care costs regardless of who manages the risk pool and distributes the payments. Government is more fair and reliable than insurance companies. Also the government is non-profit so overall cost would be less.

Sorry but I disagree about Medicare working fine. My parents are over 65 and ever since Medicare took over they have the hardest time even finding a doctor that takes it because of the bureaucracy. Medicare is not a well oiled machine, not by a long shot.
