If the plan is so great why isn't congress senate and Yes the president himself willing to end their own health programs and use the UHC system?
Actions speak louder than words.
Kind of like we are going to stop wasteing money. Cash for clunkers program? How much pork has been attached to the stimulus package?
For the same reason why they choose to send their kids to private schools v. public schools.

When the same stuff happened protesting Bush the same people writing these silly articles and trying to squash others' rights, supported it and were involved in it.

BTW: we're a Republic not a democracy. Our founding fathers did not have anything good to say about democracy.

As Democrats have pointed out, the angry hecklers disrupting town-hall meetings convened by members of Congress are not always ordinary citizens engaging in spontaneous grass-roots protests or even G.O.P. operatives, but proxies for corporate lobbyists. One group facilitating the screamers is FreedomWorks, which is run by the former Congressman Dick Armey, now a lobbyist at the DLA Piper law firm. Medicines Company, a global pharmaceutical business, has paid DLA Piper more than $6 million in lobbying fees in the five years Armey has worked there.

So the majority of people who do not want this scam bill are killing democracy?

No, its the left wing wacko planted libs who are killing it.

No, its team Obama who is killing it.

Manufactured protesters? Were do you get this stuff? Huffington? Kos?

Last time I heared it was Obama followers being planted within civil town hall debates that were the problems.

Freedom of speech is a bad thing now?

Yes, it is alive and well and is going against anything Obama does.

Isn't it just grand to see democracy at work?

Moving Forward, No, the serious concerns are for the health care they are to receive with the new bill. Seniors like their care now for most part. I'm under Medicare age and am in public care government doctors system for sliding scale or free care. It's been very bad, if you want read my posts. I just hope new health care won't be this bad or even worse.

Could be wron but this post is likely written by a young man who as of yet has had no reason to contemplate healthcare from a catastrophic perspective. It too will come to you in due time. When it does you may want to consider that when you had a chance to help yourself your grandmothers and grandfathers and mothers and fathers were trying to tell you. You think these Nazi stooges are going to give a damn about you when yu are in the throngs of death and a quick decision needs to be made as to whether you get an emergency surgery? They will pipe in your favorite music and give you som pot to smoke if your lucky.

You folks tht follow this particular set of democrats are truly the fools of the century.

your an idiot, first of all , I am a Jew and very very offended by your ignorant comment. Second of all I was in the U.S. Navy where the government handled my healthcare for 16 years, and did a great job. I NEVER once had a single worry. Right now if I needed emergency surgery, I would die or go bankrupt. I probably would have to choose to die rather than destroy my family and kids college funds. When I was in the Navy, I had regular check ups, my family had check ups as well as full dental. I haven't been back to the Dentist in 10 years. Just hoping that my new dental care, brushing 3 times a day, will work out for the entire family.

Atilla That was truly the dumbest comment in years on city data. Maybe the worst post on any site on or off city data

I don't even think Walmart would except you into their store to Shop there, and further more, would someone call the spelling police and have this poster arrested....sheesh, proof read your ill thought-out statements before you hit Submit Reply.

IF you ARE a Veteran with 16 years service you damn well know that the bolded quote is a LIE...
