We Don't Give A D*amn If The Uninsured Live Or Die!
Wouldn't this be the most honest Republican response to the healthcare issue?
Instead of fear mongering and inventing stories of how terrible the healthcare is in other countries.
Yes. But liberal freaks are mean to them when they give away their real political motivations.
Whoever sent me the nasty PM message, "You are speaking out of ignorance. Paul said "he who does not work, let him not eat". Please don't spout a false doctrine."
How dare you!!! I will speak and say WHATEVER it is that I feel and I know is true in my heart. How dare you try to tell me what to think, say, do, or type. I am not one of your follower brain-dead sheep that you can control. How sad it is that your kind is coming to an end and you are going down on a sinking ship - much like the Titanic.
it's not that people dont care..there are many tragic realities of life...deal with it..people starve to death, are killed in auto accidents, murdered, suicide..so what is your point?? Join the real world..you can't solve all the problems by being irresponsibly compassionate..
As far as healthcare is concerned, preserve the Status Quo?

My apologies, I posted a near duplicate thread....

It's interesting to note that (pulling the number from memory) 90% of the population was for health care reform. However (latest poll numbers) 57% are against the current health care plan.
Far from the status quo, far from "we don't give a damn...", the majority just don't like the plan. Simple as that.
Really, the OP is a perfect example, in micronism, of what is wrong with this debate. The OP is an example of part of the problem (and I thank her or him for being a shining example of misundersting, miscommunications, misinformation, and ignorance) - One side doesn't understand the concerns of the other side. This goes for people on both sides of the debate.
I myself am for health care reform, I would also be willing to support some sort of universal health coverage. I am against this current health care proposal, I see to many problems with it. One of the primary ones is that I just don't see it addressing health care costs to a degree that is needed. In other words - it's not "reforming" health care at all.
Why are you leaving out all the Democrats that aren't jumping on the bandwagon?
Could it be the plans under consideration just aren't the answer?
good point! Some seem to be making the "perfect" the enemy of the good, on this issue, and we all know, if we have been paying attention, that government, if it is to work at all, works by taking "baby steps". The compromise bill under consideration is not radical in ANY WAY! It is truly a compromise that gives both sides something to be happy about. . . I have a lot easier time understanding the right wing opposition (greed, lack of real concern for others), than I do understanding those who would critisze the bill for not making enough progress right now! A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step!

do you know what the #1 news channel in the country is? Hint: amazingly, it's NOT part of the mainstream media!

do you mean the cost of insurance, or medical service costs?
The Health Insurance Exchange is where insurance plans would battle it out for your business. (How socialist....)
