The failure of some communities to adapt to society is a direct result of some "enlightened" people trying to "fix" problems by insulating those that they wanted to help from addressing the causes for their problems. This forever dooms the "beneficiaries" into repeating the same behavior that makes them "victims" in the first place. So I don't see it as a white or black issue at all. I see it as an elitist problem whereby some people are looked at as incapable of managing their own lives. These elitists perpetuate the problems by trying to fix outcomes instead of causes.
It sounds to me like you're talking about Government and its community social welfare programs. Pretty good description of Democrats in action.

A pervasive problem in white America is illegal drug use. More and more of our children are lost to this problem and it transcends eco/social status.

Higher income families have just as many problems as the lower income families. The difference is they can afford attorneys.

Bull friggin' ****, Black people may have it the worst, but don't you dare try to denigrate the plight of other minority groups.

Where did you arrive at this conclusion?

According to the CDC, National Vital Statistics Report from 2005, Heart Attacks were the leading cause of death. "Murder" was not in the top ten.

That may be true. However, I don't think the drug use in the white suburbs is accompanied by the violence, poverty, illegitimacy, high school drop out rate, etc the way it is in the black community. So if you're trying to convince me that the white suburbs are just as bad as the black inner city neighborhoods you have failed.

I totally disagree with this as a real estate agent. Many a client has asked me about problems with the wealthy school districts in our area. I always tell them one of the main problems is drugs.

Wealthy kids in many cases have too much money & time to waste. They are able to purchase drugs much easier then kids who must get a part time job or lack the funds. Many people don't want their kids exposed to so much excess.

- Un-employment rates
- Murder statistics
- Drug abuse and distribution
- Poorly performing schools and high drop-out rates
- AIDS
- Teen pregnancy and single parenting
- Black male incarceration
- Overly aggressive police and police brutality

Certainly, Black communities has its share of problems. But, does White America (as a group) have any similiar type of social problems or are white people free from social problems in U.S. society?
Us white folk just can't catch a break in America. I want my country back. I want another tea party!
