Expect another attack on America. Only the next one, as promised, will be worse than 9/11. And you can thank Obama.

Dude, we had a top AQ leader killed and an apparently large terror plot stopped and suspects recently arrested. This is just in the last week or so under the Obama Administration.

This is the same amount of time that Bush had between his inaugoration and the 9/11 attacks. I just don't get the logic.

No, not ridiculous; ignorant is more like it.
These are the people who feign surprise when other nations and people have an animosity towards us, they criticise Obama for attempting to bridge the distance between our nation and these various entities.

They ignore the fact that we (Americans) have supplied munitions, poisen gas, biological weapons, training and support personel, conventional weapons to people and groups.

We have instilled dictators, assasinated duly elected politicians that we did not approve of or would not play ball with us.

We have gone all over the world kicking other nations and countires in the balls with Doc Martins, caused incalculable death and human misery, then we are surprised when someone hits us back!

I don't condone or approve of 9/11 it was a terrible thing, but as Malcom X put it, it was simply chickens coming home to roost.

Now that we have a President that isn't a war monger or imperialist, every right wing lunatic sees Armageddon around the corner.

Can't please them no matter what!!

I distinctly remember this huge alert against financial targets in Manhattan as I had a job interview in one of the buildings the day after the alert.

Can you imagine the outrage if the government of another country decided it was going to set up military basis in the U.S.A.?

No I also see how ridiculous Bush's terrorist warning alerts were!

The 18 months prior to the 2004 presidential election witnessed a barrage of those ridiculous color-coded terror alerts, quashed-plot headlines and breathless press conferences from Administration officials. Warnings of terror attacks over the Christmas 2003 holidays, warnings over summer terror attacks at the 2004 political conventions, then a whole slew of warnings of terror attacks to disrupt the election itself. Even the timing of the alerts seemed to fall with odd regularity right on the heels of major political events. One of Department of Homeland Security chief Tom Ridge's terror warnings came two days after John Kerry picked John Edwards as his running mate; another came three days after the end of the Democratic convention.

So it went right through the 2004 election. And then not long after the champagne corks stopped popping at Bush campaign headquarters, terror alerts seemed to go out of style. The color codes became yesterday's news.
