Continuing a trend of increasingly violent and revolutionary rhetoric advanced by conservative media figures, Newsmax columnist John Perry wrote that President Obama "is inviting" a military coup and detailed the reasons he said officers might support such a "[m]ilitary intervention" with the end result being one in which "[s]killed, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars." On the same day, radio host Jim Quinn told armed service members to "run for your life, get out," because Obama "is gonna get you killed."

Even if this were true, it would not matter. And therein lies your problem: You view everything thru an "us versus them" prism, as if we all have on two color jerseys that represent which team we are on.

It would be immaterial to most astute observers to even question his political affiliation, as his sanity and his call for a subversive overthrow of a democratically elected government is what makes his musings go far beyond the pale and render any further examination of this moron not worth any real effort. He has no credibility.

As you've already demonstrated in an earlier reply, you are unable to comprehend this.

Sorry ... but "lefties" would NEVER write an article like this about Obama:

Obama Radicalizes Democratic Party in His Own Image (http://www.newsmax.com/john_perry/obama_marx_democrats/2009/09/14/259951.html - broken link)

John L. Perry might have been a Dem back in the 60's - 70's ... but in today's world, this guy is as radical a right-winger as they come !!!

And NewsMax.com - the same group which ran the infamous anti-John Kerry film as an infomercial, non-stop, all day long, the weekend before the 2004 election, is as radical a right-wing website as they come.

NewsMax and John L. Perry were made for each other!

It's not the President causing the divide. Duh.

Good Lawd, how far to the right to you have to be to think John L Perry is a "leftie/dem"?

We would have had pogroms against Berkeley and San Francisco if liberals had ever dared to be this treasonous.

I have no idea whether this is true or not, but what difference would it make? Anyone who coyly advocates a miliary coup to overthrow a duly elected president of the United States is a enemy to our sovereignty and well-being.

You should be decrying what he said, instead of implying that you agree with him.

Which you apparently do.
