Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem.

There is an alternative, non-violent solution to a coup (bloodless or otherwise) on the horizon in thirteen months. It's called the Congressional elections.

Assuming, of course, that the Republican Party takes a) a cure for big government conservatism and b) its head out of its ass long enough to propose, endorse, and support candidates who stand foursquare against encroaching statism and, for once in their lives, actually have the stones to work accordingly, if and once elected.

And I don't know about anyone else, but considering the behaviour of the Republican Party in the past decade, I'm not exactly encouraged about either prospective act on their part.

So some Idiot wants a "seven days in May" scenario.

Strange how these "Law and Order" types are willing to throw all that law and order out the window because they have an administration they don't like.

Default NewsMax goes "full retard", warns of US military coup

As I posted a few days ago, the most likely discontinuity to occur in American politics in the near future is a US military coup driven the by the "Christian Corps" coterie. You've already been reading about the evangelical Christian chaplains, etc.

NewsMax's John L. Perry lays his cards, and those of today's hard Right Wing, on the table. Looks like they are about to declare an all-out PR "war" (then what?) against President Obama.

"Obama Risks a Domestic Military ‘Intervention’"
Obama Risks a Domestic Military ‘Intervention’
//
There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the “Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic.

America isn’t the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn’t mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes: ...

Note: The "full retard" phrase is taken from the Ben Stiller movie "Tropic Thunder".

So the hard Right Wing has declared a PR "war" against President Obama. Let's see where and how quickly this PR front moves in relation to the real guts of the GOP.

The GOP hard Right Wing has become the South Carolina of 1860, encouraging an entire constituency into a sanctified domestic militaristic blunder.

Newsmax is an idiot publication, much like any ragmag (National Enquirer and the like). Just because some unhinged bozo at Newsmax claims affiliation of the Republican party, does not mean that the GOP embraces their message, or the delivery.

The talking heads and the NewsMax's of the world do NOT speak on behalf of everyone in the Republican party anymore than any of the over-the-top liberals speak for the body of the Democratic party.

Each side has some nuts that the core of the group does NOT endorse. This isn't news, so why get worked up over someone that wants attention? Give them attention, they act up more. Ignore them, and pretty soon they'll stop the noise because they'll figure out there's no more audience for them.

End of problem.
