I wish the companies I worked for did that.

That would be awesome.

Instead, I waste a day sitting at home for a holiday that is fake in the first place.

LOL aren't all holiday's "fake"? I mean they were created by people to celebrate one thing or another, right?

MLK, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas - weren't these all "created" by people? What makes one faker than others?

I think Hallmark created all holidays.

No, because, depending on the company, one gets overtime for working holidays, and not all are federal holidays either.

There is no law requiring companies to ofer overtime wages for working holidays.
