You dont mind it, or you dont notice, when non-black people mispronounce words?

It really doesn't bother me, because I've gotten used to it. I know everyone isn't going to feel that way, so when I hear a professional person use it, I do cringe a little.

No, I would not say anything. I know what they meant.

"Ask" appears written as "ax" in some English documents from a few centuries ago, so it's likely one of those words that are no longer in usage in mainstream American English but clings from the past within isolated groups.

I hate ebonics and I end conversation with anyone that speaks it. I just say, I'm sorry I cannot understand a word you are saying.

I know this is common nowadays but it still bugs me no end.
Badly written English irks me far more than spoken English. Perhaps because I work in New York city, surrounded by every accent and numerous speakers to whom English is the second language. You just have to tune your ear to understand people.

As far as writing, though--I will spot an error on a menu within ten seconds of opening it. I'm not looking for it, mind you. I will see it.
