Monica Crowley says "Obama is Van Jones, Obama is ACORN" | Media Matters for America (http://clips.mediamatters.org/mmtv/200909160046 - broken link)

Just a way to attack the president is all, since direct attacks haven't been justified.
Quite the conspiracy theory. And no, I won't check out the link - MediaMatters? Really?

Van Jones was not targeted. His history, affiliations and philosophies were reported on. That's what good journalists do.

The Tea Party protests were NOT anti-Obama/anti-government. They were PRO-accountability.

Rather blew it big time! Just admit it. He went ahead with the story without having it verified because he is anti-Bush.

He got into the ANG as a rich-kid line-cutter. He did his job and flew around for a while, then he got bored and decided to move on to other things. Nobody missed him enough to make a big deal out of it under the circumstances. Line of least resistance...give him his papers and be done with him.
You don't know what you're talking about! "He did his job and flew around for a while." You make it sound like it was a hobby or a joy-ride. Flying one of those NC aircraft does take a certain amount of skill- not everyone can do it.
The fact is that we had one president who was a certified draft-dodger (Clinton) and one who served (G.W. Bush). No amount of spin you post will change that fact.

Quote:
More right-wing fantasia. Clinton did not say that he loathed the military. After describing those he had known and what he had learned from his Oxford associations with draft resisters, he says in his letter to Col. Holmes, I am writing too in the hope that my telling this one story will help you understand more clearly how so many fine people have come to find themselves still loving their country but loathing the military, to which you and other good men have devoted years, lifetimes, of the best service you could give. He is not offering personal testimony, but describing the scene that he finds himself in. But never mind that. You all are the right-wing. You can just move words around and change their meanings whenever you want.
More spinning by you. Clinton DID say that he loathed the military.

Its just clips of Fox lying, misrepresenting, distorting, etc.
But I can understand how republicans wouldn't want to admit how trashy their media is.

Van Jones was certainly targeted.
Beck said "Bring me everything you can about Van Jones" to his zombies.
And they followed their ringleaders commands.

And Beck isn't a journalist.
That is the funniest thing I've read on this forum today.

Wow.
Why don't you go look at some pictures of the tea parties.
Of course they were anti-Obama and anti-Government.

Tea parties certainly weren't about taxes, being that taxes have gone down for most of us.
