What?
bentlebee is from Europe and is probably used to use commas rather than points to mark decimals. Not that it makes much more sense that way...

Wow Obama got another accomplishment!
You left out Ronald Reagan - after 1 year in office (1981) His approval rating was 49%. George W. Bush may have ended his first year with a bang, but left with a 27% percent approval rating (I often wondered how he even got that)

Let's think here for a second:

What was going on at this point in Dubya's tenure? Oh yeah, 9/11. Might have a bit to do with his 86% rating.

For a President that inherited two seemingly unending and unpopular wars and the worst economy since the Great Depression, started under the watch of the President with the lowest approval rating of any President ever (including Nixon at the time of his impeachment!), a 47% approval rating is not bad.

FOXNews.com - Obama's 47 Percent Approval Lowest of Any President at This Point Yes, he still has 3 years left, and a lot can change, but , one would find it hard to imagine democrats wanting him to campaign for them in 2010. Looks like that hope and change has come home to roost.

Approval ratings are hilarious.

How about a ...."My Family Is Still Starving and Your Still Pulling Your Pud" rating?

Because people have seen that Obama is just more of the same.

These polls this early in a President's tenure mean next to nothing. Clinton was reelected while two Presidents with higher approval ratings (Bush I & Carter) didn't.

Hey, bee...

Obama hasn't been in office for 11 months yet. Just FYI.

My bet, he'll leave office with MUCH higher approval than Bush did.
