The theme of this thread appears to be about Blacks and Whites dating, and of course things are not black and white by any means.
Having dated many different men from differing ethnicity's, and in two long term relationships with two wonderfully exciting Black men it appears to me to be more about personal preferences, and not race when one considers dating outside ones race.
Personally I enjoy the diversity of cultures, backgrounds, history, and traditions of men who are not of my same race. While others prefer what they know and are comfortable with within their own race.
Preference is the issue for me, not a race issue.
Just my two cents, opps, no, in this economy my one cent' opinion. (G)

What exactly do people consider as a race? Hispanic is not a race, yet it seems that we tend to took at it like it is one, especially on a topic such as this.
They don't care about such pairings. It's only when blacks get involved that things become "problematic" for most.
I notice that as well. If it is a Black person involved, the usual response is disapproval. Sad and yet, no shock value.
