That law will be overturned.

There shall be no religious test for office. It says that explicitly in the Constitution. Nothing wrong with his opponent calling him out on it, but if there is a law prohibiting him from holding office, because he doesn't believe in a God, then he is going to win his lawsuit.

But yes, I would rather have a Christian in office than an atheist.

More for political reasons than religious ones.

And I think you know what I mean by that.
