With the middle east so unstable I have to wonder if there will be a war between Iran & the U.S.

What is your opinion of this possible war that could be the start of WWIII.

We have passed WWIII.

Let's hope there is not one. That won't be a war between Iran and the US. It will be a war between the US, Russia and China. The ME is a playground.

something cooking for 2018. US isn't the superpower. deep in debt, eager for more war...developing countries straining at the bit to be big shots....it's just getting too creepy...

Hah. Yeah, right. We can barely cover two fronts, let's add and destabilize a third.

Not gonna happen.

If things keep going as they are in Iran, there may not be an Iran (as we know it now). You can only suppress the will of the people for so long.

Nope. We ran out of troops fighting two other wars. A draft is politically impossible.

I'm sure a "Let me be clear" speech by 0bama would calm any situation.

Because, for some dumb reason my earlier post was deleted, I'm going to repeat it.

This will be an Iran/Israel conflict to start. And it may not happen in 2010, but it will happen.

Iran has made it perfectly clear that they intend to annihilate Israel, and the gutless UN has set idly by and watched Iran gain nuclear capability.

It's only a matter of time.

Israel, on the other hand, has adopted a "Never Again!" mentality after the Holocaust. They will NOT go down without a fight - and a fight to the last man.

So what is the spineless world - including the utterly worthless UN - going to do once all hell breaks loose? THAT is the only REAL question.
