Can any of you pathetic, extremist Obama-haters provide one example of an "apology?"

I'm betting that you can't. You're all big on wingnut talking points, but not so big on reality.

The Consequences of Obama: Terrorism is Back

by Dick Morris and Eileen McGann

January 5, 2010

Timidity and caution have become the order of the day in our intelligence community. The failure of the intelligence operatives to pass along the information about the Ft. Hood shooter or the airline bomber did not flow from a blind spot or a lack of co-ordination, they stemmed from terrorism of a different sort -- the terror of making a mistake and falling on the harsh mercies of Eric Holder.

Firstly, terrorism never left. It's been right there plotting away despite "fighting them over there..." in Iraq (aka Operation Human Shield) and have made a few unsuccessful attempts at strikes in the US.

And all broken up using TRADITIONAL police style methods, not torture. This of course doesn;t include the successful terrorist attacks on US interests/embassies/etc nor successful domestic terrorist attacks at home.

BTW, the Ft. Hood incident has not yet been classified, let alone as a terrorist attack. Just because some Muslim guy goes nuts and starts shooting doesn't make him an AQ operative.

Well Joe Lieberman wants to further expand US military actions in Yemen to the same extent as Iraq had been and Afganistan is now, and stated that

"Somebody in our government said to me in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, Iraq was yesterday's war. Afghanistan is today's war. If we don't act preemptively, Yemen will be tomorrow's war," Lieberman said, during an appearance on "Fox News Sunday". "That's the danger we face."
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/1..._n_404241.html

In addition the US is still suffering an ecconomic crisis, and the war in Iraq has costed the US over a trillion dollars. In addition it probably cost another trillion dollars for the war in Afganistan. Can the US spend another trillion in Yemen? BTW the US is already at least 12 trillion dollars in debt.

Default conservative viewpoint wrong as usual

Bush's "war on terrorism" failed. It was a bogus war to begin with. He dropped a trillion dollars. So because that nonsensical effort failed and there is still terrorism in the world, it's now President Obama's fault? The minds behind this rationale belong alongside SpongeBob SquarePants.

I have ceased to take the conservative viewpoint seriously. Absolutely absurd anti-Obama sentiments that are petty and shameful. This country is really in trouble because of this bunch who always take the low road and are ineffective when in power.

Thank God for the more enlightened folks who put Obama into office. There's hope and progress..

There is an important point that needs to be made. The phrase that the Neo-Right loves so much, "The Global War on Terror®" was idiocy and needed to be retired. The U.S. wasn't at war with Terrorism™ and need not have been. We are at war with al-Qaeda and its off shoots. We are not at war, nor should we be at war with every "terrorist" organization on the planet, be it Islamic or Basque. By dropping the cowboy nomenclature, the Obama administration has been able to shift the perception, to a significant and necessary degree, that the U.S. is not at war with Islam, but a very specific group of terrorist and their immediate allies. The problem is that the Neo-Right and the Neocons still wish to continue the idiocy of conducting some misbegotten holy war against Islam. That is the crux of the problem.

If the attack on the World Trade Center is not A War Crime, If the Attack on the Pentagon is not a Military Target, If Kaliel Shiek Mohammed is not a Terrorist; If Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is not a Terrorist.

Then Barack Husssein Obama is a competent President and Erick Holder is a competent US Attorney General.

I'm going to throw a wrench in here folks.

Yemen's government started to destabalize in early 2009 with the US backed leadership losing popularity.
Yemen's foreign debt went from $5 million in July 2009 to over $5 billion in Sept 2009.
The IMF is one of the bigger creditors of that money as well as the Islamic Development Bank.
The panty bomber's father is "the banker" of Nigeria with deep ties and indebtedness to the IMF and Islamic Development Bank for helping him get to where he is in Nigeria.

If the US backed leadership falls to the opposing forces, all that money will go *poof*

Now I read the panty bomber squealed and blamed the whole thing on Yemen.

So, now Yemen is the bad guy. Out of the blue..Yeman is where we need to go and stabilize the government (the US backed one of course) to fight terrorism.

I said in another post that this bomber may not have been the real deal..*may*.

This world is in a global recession yet Yeman borrowed $4.5 billion over three months for oil piplines. And if the opposition takes over the government that money and those pipelines may be lost.

It's all about the oil.
Follow the money.

Tin foil ? Conspiracy theory ? Who knows..but it's sure interesting these connections between the Nigerian banker, the IMF, the IDB and Yemen and oil.

He knows what he's doing, all right. It wouldn't suprise me if it is part of his agenda. Can you say "Martial Law"?
