Besides, even if the people did get the money, that would just stop them from bothering to support themselves. “It’s a simple matter of self-reliance.”
Maybe Limbaugh doesn't realize that in order to have "self-reliance", you have to have some semblance of a civilized society to begin with. You won't find that in Haiti at this time (and it really never existed in the past either).

To be self-reliant you need to either live in a somewhat functional society or be alone in a remote area. An area crowded with people and no functioning infrastructure is not pretty much chaos at best and slow mass starvation at worst. We have given this country BILLIONS of our tax dollars, only to be stolen. Money never gets to the people. We should not donate anything considering hussein obama is going to give them 100M more of our tax dollars. Not a dime should go that way unless we have complete control over how it is spent.
