It worked for Hitler during the German depression, why not here? Besides, we never really had a chance to get to invade Poland ourselves.

Yet.

Well don't you have to be physically fit and not only that but score a certain score on the ASVAB?
I know some requirements have been laxed because the Army is stretched thin but...if you're qualified, why not?
The army has some pretty good health benefits...or so I've heard.
Plus looking at the blog, it said it's geared toward people in their 20s..
I don't really think the Army is looking for 40 year old recruits...

People here feel entitled, they rather go poor and homeless than join the army... as evident by the number of homeless people we have in the streets...

For anyone above 42 years of age, this is not a solution.

For anyone who does not believe in this war, this is not a solution.

Sounds like just another smart-assed attempt to shame people, from my vantage point.

will never truly work, each and everytime liberals have been in office since carter, they have always cut funding to the military in favor of some social program. we wont see anything different now, unless it is for some morons becoming a bigger part of the obama brown shirt brigade.

Oh sure join the Army and life is great IF you don't lose it~! Or come home with mutilations that will be with you the rest of your life which is ruined because you have no money, a divorce, and sad people all around you.

There are no gauiarantees in life just as theire are not in the service. But its just a fact that the army would reject alot of pweole for their recods and for being overweight. Then they have to pass the test ;which many can't these days.
