Another "everyone who opposes Obama is racist" thread. How original. I doubt that even that many sensible liberals would agree that the dislike of Obama is due solely to his skin color.

Are you really Janeane Garofalo disguising themselves as an anonymous CD poster?

Yet, when we finally elect a man of compassion, sensitivity, intellect and foresight you can't bear it because of his name or his skin color.

We didn't elect just any black man, we were blessed with Barack Obama!
Harvard educated, eloquent speaker, community activist, author and nobel prize winner.

Get over it already. The whining is boring and repetitive.

Originally from Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.

Barack Obama - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The day has long since past when any dislike of the President was/is solely based around race...that's a 'dead soldier', as far as I'm concerned...

A little background, for all those who may read this post...I voted for him in 2008, and I'll admit of the 100 % reason I voted for him, about 10-15% was out of racial pride...I sincerely wanted to see a fellow black man ascend to the highest office in the land and succeed, which accounted for the other 85-90%...

But I've noticed something here on CD, once I learned to disregard the petty, small-minded comments and insults of those screaming just to be heard, and to pay attention to those who stated their reasons with intelligence and clarity---there are a LOT of folks who sincerely DO NOT like the President based on their dislike of his policies, and those of his cabinet...that is documented fact...are there people who have a problem with his race? Maybe...but that has become totally secondary to their fear and alarm over the direction the country is taking, and honestly, some of my more emotion-based posts aside, I can't be mad at 'em, because I live in the same country they do, and I thank God that we are still able to question the actions of our leaders, and have the ability to unseat them should we become dissatisfied with their performance...

Next time you have a chance, READ some of the threads in here...there are some truly wise people who are making their opinions known, and I'm learning to absorb their information without falling prey to negativity...

Am I still a supporter of his? Yes...am I totally happy with his performance to date? I'd be incredibly lax if I said anything other than 'NO!'...there are folk who voted for him in 2008, same as me, but unlike me, have NO INTENTION of doing it again in 2012...this too, is documented fact...

In conclusion, I do hope he can pull himself and the country out of the nose-dive that is currently upon us, media spin and 'happy-talk' to the contrary...should he falter totally, and be ousted in 2012, then I will look to whomever emerges as the new Chief Executive, and say 'okay---you and yours are on the clock...you have the mandate of the electorate...let's see waht YOU can do'...this is how it's been in this country for a LONG time, and I see no reason to think things will change now...end of story

The race card is full people.

Whether you believe he is green, yellow, purple, spotted or what the fact remains

HE IS AN EPIC FAILURE

HE DOES NOT HAVE THE SKILLS TO DO THE JOB

AND HE IS A LAME DUCK WALKING

Otherwords the fool is in deep trouble, people do not trust him, they do not like him and they do not want his policies and agenda in America. Look at his tanking polls. He has earned what he is getting.

The biggest mistake in American political history was the election of Insane Obama.

Race has NOTHING to do with it. If it did, all those people some of you call racist white people would not let him into the WH.

Afterall, without the massive white vote he had no chance of ever getting close to the WH.

So take your real racist butt somewhere else.

FACTS are he is a loser and we wont allow the martian from hell to change American into his Alinsky style socialistic country.

If you back Obama after his dreadful 1 1/2 year horrific record then it must be you who is racist and turning your cheeks.

GET OVER IT

OBAMA IS A TOTAL FAILURE. THATS A FACT you can take to the bank.

If the bank is even still open after the moron tries to take it over.
Epic failure? Look...this president averted the worst economic diaster since The Great Depression. That alone is an EPIC SUCCESS. He can suck the rest of the way...and just that one accomplishment will have him go down as one of the great presidents. So get over it.

It's not about opposing him. You all seem defensive, it's more about HOW those who oppose him behave, the unnecessary "Hussein" "Where is his birth certificate" rants and other obvious hate that is blatantly racially biased. I know you all like to pretend there is no racial element, but this is America, land of race based politics and society.

This is simply YOUR OPINION, not fact. Learn the difference. Some would argue the same about the current president and his "good ole boy" chicago style government. That would also be their opinions.

BS. Cop out excuse. Anybody that has any complaint about the current administration does so because of his skin color? Plain old BS. This is simply childish non-sense looking to evoke emotions into the situation and further the agenda. Blacks want to excel the level of president? Good. But be ready to accept the criticism that goes with the power and leave your BS crybaby racist crap at home.

None of which prepares somebody for the office that he holds. None.

Quote a post of mine where I referred to him as Hussein or asked for his birth certificate. Actually, I'll save you the time and say don't bother... you won't find one. Are there racists in this country who are upset because we have a black man elected to the highest office of our country? Of course, but you cannot paint everyone who dislikes the man with the same broad stroke. It just won't fly. I can dislike Obama with every fiber of my being and honestly say it has zero to do with the color of the reflection in his mirror.

Actually, he hasn't averted it.

The national debt, soon to be 14 trillions, is denominated in dollars. That debt cannot be legally paid with "dollar bills". (See: Title 12 USC Sec.411, and the Coinage Act of 1792, et seq).

Congress is borrowing more than it pays in debt service. (That's what Bernie Madoff was convicted of doing - in the private sector).

At some point (very soon), the gullibility of investors to risk buying "securities" from the Federal government will end. That will be the bellwether of doom.

In case you don't read law, the national debt cannot be questioned, pursuant to the 14th amendment, clause 4. So the national government is obligated to stamp 700 billion ounces of gold into coin to satisfy bond holders...
Problem #1 - Fort Knox has only 147.4 million ounces.
Problem #2 - worldwide estimates for above ground bullion is 5.5 billion ounces.

In short, America has an impossible debt, that cannot be questioned, and underwritten by over 300 million "human resources" pledged as collateral, thanks to "voluntary" enrollment into FICA. When those "debtors" balk at the stupendous tax hikes coming, the house of cards will collapse.

The Republicans are power hungry. Simple as that. They are control freaks. They are DYING each and every day Obama will be in office. And (like children) will cry, rant and call him names. It's just in that party's nature.

I think this is another thread just to bait racists- most of the anti Obama talk I hear has nothing to do with his race- I maybe am lucky enough to not associate with any racists, so that may affect my take on it-

I would rather tell those that deny he was born in the U.S. to let it go already-
