I'm not hoping for violence, but hoping that they now live with anxiety while holding their seat because of their disregard (on the most part) to what their constituents wanted.

No. I condemn violence. But honestly, I don't give a crap anymore about what happens. This country is disintegrating from stupidity.

Hoping for violence? No.
Not surprised at the backlash? Most definitely.

No, we did not (I'm pretty far to the left, and am disappointed in the bill for reasons that would probably make your head explode), but the thought of threatening violence never once occurred to me, just as threatening violence against those who supported the economic and political policies of Bush or Reagan also never occurred to me, despite being virulently opposed to them. We are a nation of laws, and a democratic country, if we condone violence and threats of violence to exercise our political will over the rule of law, then we are lessor for it.

I don't recall Tae Partiers raping ,robbing and looting people like some in NO did . Innocent people have a right to protection from criminals . Instead they disarmed the innocent so the criminals ran free . I know a cop who lived there during this chaos, he left that place for good . he said many of the things done were not even covered by the news .

However, the entitlement types, especially those involved with violent crime to begin with, who think they were entitled to it may have no problem with threatening violence. Which was my point.
