Absolutely. If they are going to cover ALL costs, then compensate the fishermen, charter boat companies, et al. whose businesses will suffer because of their neglect.

actually the government owns the well, BP only operates it....


therefore the government...(meaning the taxpayer) is going to pay

The spill from the Exxon took decades for payment.

They will get some money in time.

Honestly, I have insurance against this type of loss.

If they are smart, they do too.
