Point is, if this was actually some sort of big deal and a 'crime' as some people are alluding to, don't you think it would have been a huge issue when Reagan did the exact same thing?
There are many members of Congress, including some Democrats, that want to know exactly what took place between the WH and Sestak...including conversations with Sestak's brother and the meeting with Bill Clinton on the day the WH counsel offered the whitewash explanation. Also, a similar situation took place in Colorado that should be investigated. If members of Congress keep the pressure up then this will not just go away.
Something tells me the FBI would have a much different story than what the WH and Sestak have publicly reported happened.

Yet when Republican Presidents do the exact same thing, its not a controversy....
However, Reagan did the exact same thing Obama did, offer someone who is running in a Primary a job in the administration if they were to drop out. Yet no big stink was made from it back then.

I'm not sure what happened there but just when did this law pass? If it was after Reagan's time in office and the Dems worked to have it passed wouldn't it be funny if it came back to bite them in the A$$? LOL

We never found out all the particulars of that, and Hayakawa ended up deciding not to run for office, and he did not work for Reagan either, which means it was different then what we have today with Sestak, who did run.
What we have today is relevant, what might have happened yesteryear does not matter today.
