BTW, I think this also violates the Hatch Act too, so Rahm could lose his job, even if he were not prosecuted under SEC 600. Come to think of it, Clinton may be liable for prosecution too.

No language in that law suggests that its illegal to be offered a job not to run for a seat. Also, notice how still no comments on if Reagan committed a crime or not....

If what Reagan did is the same as what Obama's people did TWICE so far, then yes, he did break the law too. BTW, are you seriously trying to argue that offering someone a job to stay out of a race so the other guy can win is legal? Really? What country are you from?

If a job offer was done before Sestak even announced running, of which it was, in a casual conversation, of which the topic consisted of a minute or two, I see no illegality. Not to mention, Sestak did run, and WIN. This story should be as dead as the fish are now in the Gulf. What's going on in the Gulf should be Top Priority to the Republicans - not this tiny can of worms. It makes the ones who want to pursue this look stupid and petty.

It is very obvious you have absolutely no understanding of legal language.

I actually do have understanding of legal language, and the language is exactly what make this legal. It does not specify offering someone a job so they do not run for something.

It all depends on what the meaning of the word, "is----is." LOL, no wonder they sent Clinton to do the job.
