What specifically have Conservatives done in the past ten years to improve our country?

Complaining about, criticizing, or obstructing liberals does not count.

I am looking for a specific policy or change Conservatives are responsible for and the postitive result of this today.

I think there is a fundamental flaw in your question. Conservatism, in a general sense, is just that it is suppossed to conserve what is already in place or what is the fundamental principals of our Countries foundation. Since Conservatism believs in limited goverment, not its expansion, it is not really suppossed to create 'rights' or do anything other than protect and preserve them. Government is not the entity which is supposed to solve all the societies ills - that is a progressive and collectivist idea. This idea that governmnet has to do something to make our country better is your flaw and since liberals do try to overturn such principles actually obstructing them is benificial to our founding principles.

Even though I don't adhere as strongly to the conservative spectrum under all circumstances, I must say... nicely argued response!

I know, it is called a typo. However the system does not allow an edit change of the title.

Do you feel good when you can point out a mistake?

BTW, do you have anything to contribute to the topic or are you the grammer police?

Their contract with America I thought was good. They forced Clinton to reign in spending, which helped to create a almost balanced budget for years, with some extra cash to spare.

Conservatives biggest contributions, are controlling Democratic over spending.

Probably nothing, because we haven't had any conservatives in a position to make any kind of difference. You aren't trying to claim that bush was a conservative, are you?
