For the 2012 election, true.

But NOT for the 2010 elections.

Presidential Popularity Over Time

Ken
Sorry to take so long getting back to you, Ken. And sorry that you think presidential popularity polls mean anything. As a result of the multitude of lemmings that voted for that absolutely incompetent boob masquerading as president, you may be getting your wish to get to Arizona sooner than planned. Once there you'll be faced with living among people who value individual freedoms and personal responsibility more than some liberal ruse to get illegal aliens in a position to solidify votes for the socialist/Marxist party. And, as for those circumstances, I'm guessing that you believe that all of this that has plunged the USA into economic and sociological chaos is anyone else's fault EXCEPT Zero's.

Like most other Americans with any grey matter between their ears, I see an end to this madness on January 20, 2013. That's the day that this fraud will be deposed. Too bad the sheep in congress won't do anything to IMPEACH the ESS-OH-BEE now. Maybe things will change next January.

Gallup.Com - Daily News, Polls, Public Opinion on Government, Politics, Economics, Management

44% Approval
48% Disapproval.

Now, has anyone seen the OP? How many "obama reaches 50% in the Gallup poll" threads will he abandon?

Yep. Just wait as his presidency goes on. I would suspect that he will be under 20% by the 2012 election. The 20% will be the hard core left who would support him regardless of what he does. Witness some of the posters on this site.

The Obamabashers simply choose to ignore history because it doesn't fit their political agenda - a VERY silly and ignorant thing to do.

Ken
I agree.
I think the echo chamber has overtaken his voice (as opposed to when he was running for president).

But when you listen to him, and see what he's up against without the veil of doomsday drama the media uses to get our attention, I think he's still a good leader, good politician (did I just say that?) and without a doubt the best presidential candidate from the last 4-5 elections.

Of that 44% of people polled that approve of Obama the breakdown is interesting. 85% of those people are either black or make under $2000 a month. Does that say something?
