Wrong. More like 7.2%.

I wanted to like Obama, really, I did. I tried. I just can't. Its not about race, goodness knows. Its about policies.

I am a staunch Independant. I have no loyalty to either party. But clearly, I am hoping there will be a better alternative to the current administration when the time comes. Sara P is NOT an alternative in my opinion. She simply could not carry the vote. Romney is also not someone who could win. I pray that somewhere, someone comes along who takes the fancy of most voters.

His approval ratings are holding up better than ANY President since JFK.
And THAT is a fact.

Do yourself a favor. Review a little history. It will make you look a little less silly and ignorant.

Ken

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

Obama's approval rating is proof of only one thing ... that 50% of the population are too stupid to breathe ...

And after the debacle that was Bush, Charles Manson would have won a popularity contest.

The facts are, Obama is losing ground in his own supporters at an accelerated rate ... and the decline is quite profound. Not only will he be viewed as one of the worst presidents, but he will have done more to wake up the American people to the left-right fraud than anyone in the last 100 years.

Of course, he'll maintain at least a 35% approval rating no matter what ... cuz as Ron White says "you just can't fix stupid".

Gallup.Com - Daily News, Polls, Public Opinion on Government, Politics, Economics, Management

Back to 44% Approval, 48% Disapproval.

Dang, I'd sure like to see the partisan Id that Gallup is using. They just refuse to let him go under 44%.

Gosh, look at the first 5 polls.

Just because someone disagrees with a black man or woman does not make them racist..and people in this Country have to wise up and stop with all of this "white guilt "garbage...I wanted to like him..I really really did...give me a break..stop apologizing...he is a man..don't give a damn about how much pigment he has in his skin..it is what is in his heart..and IMO it is evil...he is a radical and Communist / son of card carrying Communists...read up on him..get the facts..know who you are dealing with here..

Much of the media back then was anti-Reagan and much of the media today is pro-Obama. That makes a huge difference with approval ratings.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17 (see trends).

Voters overwhelmingly believe that there is currently too much regulation of small businesses but are evenly divided about whether big business needs more or less regulation. Overall, 69% say that when it comes to helping the economy and creating jobs, more competition and less government regulation is better than increased regulation and less competition. Voters are evenly divided over a one-year moratorium on new government regulations.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.
Overall, 43% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove.
