I'm trying to come up with one now! It's so hard...all 3 of mine have relatively traditional names...Catherine, Charlotte, and Colin. I don't anticipate keeping the C theme going.
All the names I hear nowadays sound made up....I can't tell you either how many Madison, Mackenzies, Kaylees, Haylees, Rileys, and Avas there are around here...I didn't intend to hurt anyone's feelings by naming off those names...they're just exceedingly popular around these parts. Most of the boys names are Bryson, Grayson, Brogan, Logan, Aiden, Briley...so traditional names are not popular around here.
My husband and I are having a very hard time with names for our 4th and final. I suppose we'll have a name book at the hospital and hope for some inspiration.
Oh, come on! You've got 3 C's going.....you need a fourth C name! How about Courtney? Is that traditional enough? Or what about Christina? Carole? Carla?Cassandra? Candace? Constance? Cynthia? Claire?

Reason: still going with the "C" names!! :)
When my husband and I were still dating we came up with Miriam Rose for a girl and Grant Edward for a boy. Both middle names are family names on my side.
We chose names that we thought sounded nice- no real rhyme or reason, we just like the names. As far as middle names go, we tried to use family names that "flowed" with the first name (Morgan Gayle, Skylar Christine, William Thomas, Ryan Michael and Eva Michelle). Our last name begins with a D.
When I was first found out I was pregnant I knew I was having a boy. I had always liked the name Dominic and was thinking that was going to be the name. I later changed it after reading a book. My son's name is Sawyer (i've met one other Sawyer and he was 8). No, I have never watched Lost! My daughter's name is Riley ( I think she will have a few people with her name girls and boys).
My aunt suggested Evangeline, and after saying it out loud a few times, my husband and I both really loved it. Her middle name will be Kate.
We've already had people make a face when they ask what her name will be, but I don't care...she's not their child and they don't have to live with the name. I never thought a name choice would be such a source of opinion for so many people.
There's plenty of names I don't like, but I would never make a face, groan, or say anything to someone about their choice of name. It's personal, but it is interesting to hear some of the names peoplel come up with these days! I mean, some of them really make them up!!!

Our neighbors just named their little girl Evangeline Lilly. They plan to call her Ellie.
A few people have asked us if we are big fans of Lost. I've never seen it; apparently there is an actress on there named Evangelline Lilly. I had no clue, until my husband googled the name!
I don't think it will reach the popularity of Madison, Kaylee, or Makayla, but you never know!
We have a Catherine, Charlotte, and a Colin.

Great. Now people are really going to think we're Lost freaks. I just wanted a middle name with one syllable. It was a toss up between Kate and Faye. I think Kate won out.
Oh well...it's not a bad name and I think the show is done, so maybe it will be a fleeting memory.
I was looking for a name that was not Biblical, sounded nice, had a good meaning, and long history of usage. behindthename.com was extremely useful in that regard.
