I've always said that Peyton Manning is a high speed train. He will run right threw you if he stays on track. If you knock him off track early enough he de-rails and can't recover. They looked very much like they did in the Superbowl against the Seahawks.
If Manning can execute his A-B-C-D plan he's unstoppable, if you knock him off at A or B he doesn't adjust well to get ot C or D.
His post game interview was pretty revealing - clenched jaw, he was ticked.
Pats own him from a Brady/Manning duel perspective.
Noticeable lack of class by Manning who walked off the field without acknowledging Brady.
The two are good friends off the field and were scene talking together before the game. They probably agreed on that beforehand. If not, then yes, poor class from Manning.
Great win, but hoping the Patriots can keep it going now, so that if there is a rematch it takes place in New England. I think the Pats have a tougher schedule ahead, but they are playing lights out right now. That being said,I think they could go into Denver and win, but it would be much harder. And I think Foxborough has a higher chance of bad weather, which of course is advantage Pats. I think it was 60 in Denver last year for the AFC Title game.
Another strong win. First the Bears, then the Broncos, and now the Colts.... halfway through the supposed "tough 6 week schedule"...
