Who would've thought when Brady went out, the Pats would be 1 game shy of 11 wins. All we need is to win this week, and the Jets to win and we're in!!!

As for the injuries, I'd just wish they'd give up on these 80 year old defensive backs.

11-5, Great Season!! Just not great enough I guess. With all that the Pats went through this year, although missing the playoffs, they had a very good year. Shouldn't have to rely on other teams to make the playoffs (especially Favre and the Jets), but what can one do but wait for next season.

Oh well, it's the first year in quite a while (since 2001?) that we haven't been able to catch the Pats in the playoffs. My wife and I couldn't believe we were in the position of actually pulling for the Jets. It must be hard to be a Jets fan and watch such lousy play.

Never thought I'd see an 11-5 team not be in the playoffs especially since an 8-8 team is in the playoffs. NFL really needs to look into changing something here.

11-5 and out of the playoffs while San Diego at 8-8 is in... That is sick.

However, I'm glad the Dolphins won't have to face the Patriots spread offense in the playoffs!

Go 'Phins!!!!

I am going to go out on a limb and say you never felt this way when the 10-6 Cheifs were left out a few years ago (were they 10-6 when they were screaming about the rules?) or when the 11-5 Broncos were left out in the 80's. The system the way it is, is fine by me. Even if it was my team, YOUR Indianapolis Colts, I would feel the same way. Thats just how the proverbial cookie crumbles.

You are correct in saying that's the way the system is DC. It's just kind of weird that an 8-8 team is in the playoffs while a team like the Patriots is out.

Don't get me wrong though; I am GLAD the Pats are out of the playoffs and my Dolphins are in!
