Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch for me ... plus, my ex-g/f is now the biggest Seahawks fan in the world because of her husband. And, no, I'm not envious or pining for my ex, but she's real obnoxious on Facebook with her "love" of the Seahawks. Sickening. lol

That's not neccessarily true. I'm a huge, loyal Eagles fan, but I like the Patriots, Packers and I liked the Giants teams that won their most recent Super Bowls. The 49ers of the Bill Walsh/Joe Montana era, the great Bills teams that went to four straight Super Bowls, the '85 Bears and the Colts with Peyton Manning/Edgerrin James/Marvin Harrison were also likable. The Seahawks and their (12) fans truly annoy me. I don't get envious of other team's success.

How can you pick New England? Don't you know Seattle has the top ranked defense?!!! Or that New England barely beat six seed Baltimore?!!

DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!! By now we all get that.

#1 defense, impressive, meaning Seattle is absolutely unbeatable. I mean, look what they did to Green Bay, who probably couldn't jump out to a big enough lead because Rodgers was legitimately hobbled. And who cares how the Ravens game came out? What does that have to do with Seattle? We lost to Miami and we're still in the Super Bowl.

Seattle's offense is good. The Patriots defense is good. Match-up wise I think Revis and Browner (subject to his penaltyitis are better than the receivers of Seattle IMO. When the game gets down to the red zone the Pats do a great job of keeping TD's off the board.

The Patriots offense is really good....go ahead, bring up Denver and last year. They can score points against anyone. Will they put up 40 (their playoff average)? I doubt it very much. Will they get no points? I doubt it very much.

Vegas has this as a pick 'em for a reason. It will come down to who's offense can score more points assuming a low scoring game against the others defense? It's just not as obvious going into the game as you are so wholeheartedly hanging onto. Of course I may come back here post game and say you're right. But pre-game? Sorry, Seattle doesn't impress me like the '85 Bears did, or even last years Seattle defense.

I think NE is better team than they were last year, and Seattle is not as good as last year. Brady has the hot hand right now and Wilson hasn't played quite as well. Plus NE has a lot to prove in this game at so many levels. But I think the two best teams in the NFL are playing each other so who knows? It all depends on which team makes the least mistakes, especially stupid penalties. They both have such outstanding coaches...this has the potential to be one of the great Super Bowls but it all could fall apart too. I'm going with the Pats.

Most people picked Denver last year. Seattle killed them. They will do the same this year.
