So, grades last night?

I liked the first team, but again, that secondary looked suspect.

I LOVED Tanner. He may give us a Three-headed monster again. The fact that he ran UP the field gave him top player points.

Of course, that O-line and secondary still looked off.

Don't like the fact that our D line can't seem to stop runners up the middle. O line was ok, secondary gives me nightmares. Atill think we will be better than most people think.

Default Week 1

This week's result: Cowboys lose to Jets 27-24

2011 Regular Season Record: (0-1)

Well, this is the second year in a row the Boys lose a Sunday night opener with multiple mistakes at the end. Normally, I'd be red in the face right now.... but I have to admit, they did MUCH better than expected. Still a loss, though.

Blame this on two people, Garrett and Romo. Rob's defense did it's job. Injuries to the secondary killed us. Time management again is a huge problem(thought Wade was coaching our offense again). Dez played lights out until he got injured. Injuries better get addressed quickly. Loved the fight from our D-Line along with the sacks, interception from Lee, and the strip and fumble recovery on the blitz. McBriar was a yard too close on the blocked punt. Jerry better get somebody, anybody to shore up the secondary.....

No excuse not to run the damn ball when inside the 5 yd line....not when a field goal at the very least will put you up 10. Garrett better get a clue, and get it fast!

Romo lost this game, plain and simple. I normally don't blame one player but he fumbled the ball on the 3 yard line and then turned around and threw an interception on the next possession. We could have won this one! The whole team was playing very well until...you guessed it...Romo chokes at the end of the game again!!! Romo has the skills, I don't know what's wrong with him. It's like his brain just shuts down in clutch situations.

With that being said, I was impressed with Rob Ryan's defense and pretty much everything else.

Have expectations really sunk that low in Big D?

not expectations in general...but, i was expecting the cowboys to lose this game. not only are the jets better on paper, but they have played better football the past couple years than the cowboys, plain and simple.

with that being said, as a team, the cowboys looked good. the defense did their job, and gave the opportunity to the offense to win the game with 17 points.

very disappointed in Romo, but there's lots of football left. i'm far from writing anyone off...next week we have the 49'ers who are coming off a big win, and would love to destroy the Cowboys.
