Well, the Chiefs did what the Chiefs do.
That defense can be maddening at times, but came through at the end. Thankfully Mahomes&Co. are capable of making up for it when needed.
Some brief Chiefs games stats vs Browns.
Mahomes: 27-36, 337 yds, 3 TD.
T. Hill: 11 rec - 197 yds
T. Kelce: 6 rec - 76 yds
C. Edwards-Helaire: 14 car - 43 yds
Chiefs O-line made a lot assignment errors which should clean up as the season goes on with all the rookies.
Browns are the real deal, everyone knew that, they played one heck of a game.
Chiefs D got a real test there, very alarmed at Cleveland running the ball on them at will.
Tough way to start the season against 2 of the top 5 teams in the league but frankly it's not how they play now as much as how they improve and stay healthy.
The Chiefs defense needs a serious overhaul. They can’t stop anything.
Even with a mediocre defense, the first two games would have been blowouts in the Chiefs favor.
The offensive line isn’t giving Mahomes much time either but at least he can cope with it.
This game against the Ravens tonight was a lot like the Chiefs first game against the Raiders last season. Either team could have won it at the end. The Chiefs run defense has always been their achilles heel the last few seasons. Until they can get that problem solved, they will be vulnerable in these close games.
That the Chiefs made it to the last 2 Super Bowls with bad defenses says a lot about their offense.
I thought surely this year would see some improvements in that area.

Buffalo has one of the best offenses in the entire league. Ravens are very good too.
Their other games this season had 35 and 27 points scored, so the Chiefs giving up about the same points.
Chiefs O-line being entirely new will take some time to adjust.
In short, the Chiefs have played 2 of the best teams in the AFC, while they have some work to do, for now it doesn't matter they have 4 months or so.
This years Chiefs team reminds me a lot of the St Louis Rams team the year after they won the Superbowl. Incredible offense (greatest show on turf), but defense was weak. As long as Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk could work their magic, their overall brillliance covered the real flaws of the team...till it didnt. I have a feeling the Chiefs are going to go the same way. Yes Mahomes, Kelce and Tyreek are the baddest offense in the game right now, but I just feel that eventually all the other holes are going to sink this team at the worst possible time. I could be wrong though.
