I'm guessing that they'll be heavy favorites against the Bucs even though it's being played in Tampa. The Bucs defense is going to be better than what the Chiefs faced against the Bills.

I actually think it will be a close game.

Chiefs already beat Tampa once this year in Tampa. They can do it again.

The thing is that the Chiefs don't have trouble scoring on good defenses either.

I felt the Pack was more of a threat as they could put up the points you need to beat the Chiefs.

This TB defense is nowhere near the 49ers defense from last years SB and they dropped 31 on them.

I think the line will be about 7, over/under maybe 55?
(Just went and checked and it's 3.5 and 57.5.....I'd jump all over the Chiefs covering that spread.)

I agree with you that the line will grow to about 7. That's still a very close game.

Largest spread in superbowl history is 10.5 for a point of comparison.

No way it moves to 7.

3.5 seems about right to me. Might go to 4 or 4.5

I suppose that just the "Tom Brady" mystique will keep the betting dollars from making the line shift to 7.

Since it's an unprecedented "home game" for Tampa a line of 4 is really more like 7 in a normal superbowl setting anyway.

So, at 3.5 I think it's a pretty solid bet to go with KC but of course anything can happen.

I just can't see playing this game 100 times and having Tampa + 3.5 win half.

The first game was a 3 point game for what it is worth.

Bucs no showed the first quarter and the Chiefs no showed the last three quarters.

Yeah, that game was a lot like the New Orleans game though.

4 minutes left, 10 point lead...give up yards for clock and then close the game out.

Not flashy and gets the win with a score that is "close" on paper.

That's why the line is probably 3.5 or so.
Reid giving up time for points to cement the win instead of risking a big play.

Should be a good game. I'm excited. I think the Chiefs will win.
