I managed to kick myself in the shin in my attempt to avoid stepping on that damned back yard cat. It's red and painful. The cat's purrfectly fine, though.

I was watching a video about the benefits of fasting. I was eating a drumstick at the time when I noticed a small ant marching across the floor...I knew more were bound to come! In my abrupt desire to fix this problem, the drumstick rolled off the plate and onto the floor. Now I know an ant invasion is coming...it's only a matter of time. All this is the fault of the guy making a video about fasting

But it annoys me when, in the Relationships forum, 99% of the first posts that come across are long winded, and about weird issues. Lots of “story” but not much actual substance. Seems more prevalent in that forum than others, but of course there are “one hit wonders” all over these boards.

By the time the egg was poached, the toast was cold. I boiled some cranberries in order to ward off scurvy. They were very bitter so I added some mango juice. Now it is sweeter but tastes like an expensive cocktail...it is 8:50 in the morning...this is not right I need coffee but it is not made yet. Why can't a just rent a man to make me coffee in the morning?

I found a beautiful silk scarf at the GW last week. I wore it today. It is really nicely made of Chinese silk. It is quite pretty. Its red color is totally wrong for my complexion color.

I wore it anyway.

It took me a long time to realize how this works. Sadly, many of my favorite colors don't suit me.

It changes when your hair goes gray! Colors I used to love don't look good on me anymore but others I didn't wear much do.

I used to look ghastly in coral, but now I might be able to wear it. I have a friend who loves coral, but she pronounces it like the name Carl. Now I have to worry that if I buy a coral shirt I will have to hear her say that.

Since I took up coloring, I have become more adventurous with wearing color. And I often identify colors with the names of my colored pencils. My scarf was was a combo of crimson red and scarlet. It had little squiggles of warm gray in it.

I am a little concerned about becoming obsessed by this.

I went shopping today, and only came back with a graduation card. Was gone almost two hours.
