I got so frustrated when I went to the rec center to renew my fitness center pass. The only available spaces were at the end of the parking lot. I hadn't planned on walking that far this morning. Grrrrr!
That was almost as frustrating as going to the donut shop and asking for a chocolate frosted donut and getting a chocolate glazed donut... Heeelllooo? There is a distinct difference between the two!
I stopped by Starbucks yesterday. While I was standing in line, I noticed the prettiest china go cups for sale that had Washington printed on them and lots of pretty leaves. I wanted one of those cups so bad, but decided I didn't really need one. Be discipline, I told myself. So, do I buy one because I like it, or do I do the sensible thing?
My anti-virus blocked the New York Times archive search, https://timesmachine.nytimes.com/browser. And did it again this morning. I have to turn off the antivirus for a moment to get it to work.
I got blinds for above my kitchen sink. To get them installed, I have to reach way up high onto the window ledge and the big sink is in my way. I don't have enough upper body strength to really drill the holes, so I end up with a drill above my head in a precarious position, swearing quite a little bit. I had to put towels over the drains in the sink because the screws keep falling in there. The package says, "Easy installation" so who am I to argue?
I parked at a meter today. I knew my space number but not my zone. Before I researched to find the zone, my court session ended on time for once so I didn't have to refill.
My daughter just got a job offer with a $25,000 student loan payback perk. We paid for her education out of pocket from savings.
