I guess that brings up the question — if a way of correctly speaking/spelling objectively exists — does that make it superior? If correct doesn’t exist objectively than I guess we could say all forms of communicating are equal.
Stop talking about spelling. This thread that YOU started is about speaking. Moving the goalposts to make it about spelling and writing in school is taking you way off topic.

Spelling and speaking go hand in hand. If one knows how to spell words correctly but many/most of their spoken words drastically deviate from the spelling — cognitively what’s going on fascinates me.
And don’t get a discussion on a forum confused for something like a dissertation where only objectives truths can be spoken. Conversations can be appealing when they are allowed to flow freely with no worries about goal posts being moved or anecdotal observations not being allowed. It’s good to see you immersed in the conversation to such a degree though so don’t be offended by my suggestions.
I had a lot of English classes where grading was indeed applied based on some objective criteria for how language is used. Speaking, spelling, punctuation — the rules were mostly contained in books that the teachers taught from. A lot of it was hard to understand…for example, punctuation which I was never got all the rules for (I do learn and try to incorporate as much as possible though).
White people changing to “talking black” is simply the one I have noticed throughout my life. I’ve never argued that all people must notice that particular thing equal to me or that other examples don’t exist.
And please, just observe a conversation instead of jumping into “you’re racist” accusations.
We were 16 or 17 pages in before anyone said what a bunch of us were thinking. I think you were pretty lucky to get this far.

I definitely agree with that. I knew it would be a hard discussion to have without accusations of racism flying — and I tried to preface that in the OP.

Rubbish.
When I speak my dialect I know full well how to spell it correctly vs speaking it , as do most

Can you give examples of words you speak that are drastically different than how you learned to spell them? Since we see so much communication in written form now, I see a ton of people that will also spell their words how they might speak them. Sometimes it can be hard to understand. But cognitively it’s interesting if they actually know the correct spelling (like if it was asked on a test) yet choose to use some other form…like what’s causing their brain to do that.

Where are you "seeing a ton of people" doing this? You claim that you are not on any other websites besides this one, don't use social media, and you are a retired millionaire at 30, so clearly you aren't working. I'm sorry if I don't believe your claims of "seeing a ton" of this.

Please don’t make another discussion about me personally. Take what I say at face value or don’t, but please don’t continually derail threads based on personal grievances. I personally don’t think grudges against anonymous forum posters are healthy mentally.

You seem to keep trying to control and guide a forum conversation by veiled insults. Trying to tell people what they can say and what they can do in a forum is like herding kittens. You can't be surprised when someone calls you out for moving the goal posts. You can't be surprised when someone is going to call you out on your arrogance.
