I have a friend who needs his mobile home tie downs replaced. Corrosion and time have made them so deteriorated that i doubt they would hold in a good windstorm. Anyway, Does anyone know a contractor that handles this type of thing? Hes in Charlotte county BTW

Did some searching. Most home repair handymen can do this sort of thing (anchors are required for storage buildings, etc). You might call the MH sales offices and see who they use. You might also call a couple of the Over-55 MH parks and see who they use.

The problem I have found is to get people to return a phone call, and far too often the ones who do charge an arm and a leg to do small stuff.

Sorry I couldn't give you more help. Maybe someone else on the site can give you more help.

Good luck.

Contact the Mobile Home Depot in Venice to see if they can recommend anyone. They sell parts, but may have some contractors they use.
