Do you mean Sonny's here? Where did they move to?
Sonny on 41 over by 41 and 776 intersection. That place has given up, in my opinion. Went there with the wife, kids. no less than 6 staff members just stood and looked at us while we were waiting to be seated. No more than 5 or 6 couples in the entire place so they werent busy. Food was ok, but getting overpriced. The service was terrible.

Ill spend a bit more and dont mind as well as the service is reasonable.

You can never have too many good BBQ joints.

Good = Texas and St. Louis styles.

My bro in law is a master griller/smoker of ribs, brisket and chicken. If I find myself out of work soon...and I might....maybe thinking of partnering with him on his dream to move from Texas to FL and open a place. He's been selling his stuff successfully at work at his aerospace place in Dallas for years. He takes lunch orders, cooks all weekend, packages it up and brings it into work for lots of co-workers.

It would be a dice roll for both of us but it could also be a good thing. Thoughts?
Wally's is a good BBQ place on 41 - simple, but the food is good. They do chicken, brisket, and ribs. They offer two meat platters which are good.

That said MA, if he's making good stuff, it will do well. There is a Texas BBQ place (and texas stuff is different BBQ), in Baltimore called RUBs. They are really good - I used to go there once a week for lunch. They always served a jalapeño pepper and a piece of Texas toast with each platter. They offered one, two, and three meat platters, good cold beer, and were always packed. The one thing I would add, is Pit Beef Sandwiches - I make that all the time, rare pit roasted beef, on a good roll, with BBQ Sauce, and Salt and Pepper, with Boardwalk Fries - can't be beat!

Stopped ever going to Sonnys. The staff there has given up. Id recommend trying it if you can
Good post! I went by there and spotted it a couple days ago.
