How about that? January Hurricane party, anyone?

Looking day-to-day on windyty.com, it looks like that storm fizzles out pretty quickly. But a week from Saturday they are predicting some pretty strong winds here, coming off the Gulf.

Tuesday, the 19th, shows a strong cyclonic action in the Northeast. Don't go fishing off Cape Cod that day.

Bill I have been hunkered down in my house with a cold/flu all week, I'm sure I could have dragged myself out to drink some beer but being around other people from Jersey would have been too much.

Okay,Minot really ready to launch the 2016 HST just yet but this, from Charmotte County Emergency Manager Wayne Sallade:

"Not a concern for anyone Stateside, but we now have Invest 90L in the Eastern Atlantic and it's looking more and more like a developing tropical storm with each passing hour. Now being given a 50/50 chance of becoming Alex over the next five days, it poses no immediate threat to any land areas. If named, it would the first storm of the 2016 season!"

Really, Alex? January?
