Random thought of the day......Red, White, and Blue! National Flag Day.....but sad in two ways. One, what happened in DC today and two, the lack of flags flown from peoples homes today. Oh my!

Flag Day is a state holiday in Pennsylvania, where I grew up. We always fly a flag proudly - not just on Flag Day, but every day!

Eh, Shake Shack will make its way to the Triangle eventually. Just like Wegmans will someday open a store in Charlotte.

Does that positivity extend to your Hurricanes finding their way back to the playoffs?

The vegetarian Beyond Burger, long awaited in NC, is now available at our local Whole Foods.

I think it's vegan but mine isn't because it has cheese.

It's SO GOOD, even for meat eaters, when you put a lot of stuff on it.
