Wondering if anyone else couldn't figure out where a few of these places were. For example, #2 and #8 don't have a link or a name listed (right?). I am pretty sure #2 is BCBB, which is yummy.

In general, I really like the link too, so thanks. I'm just hoping to make the most out of it by knowing all the places.

#2 is def BCBB - they use those pie tins as plates, and those are their signature duck frites. I clicked on #8 and it went to the original Instagram photo - was from Bull Street Market.

Most of the best places to eat weren't listed: Pizzeria Toro, Mateo, Scratch, Daisycakes, Dashi, Roses Meats & Sweets, Loaf, The Federal, Watts Grocery, Hummingbird Cafe, Guglhupf, Four Square, Nana's, Tonali, Juju, Apachemo...I could go on.

But any recognition is always good.

They forgot Only Burger! Two locations now & they still bring out the food truck, even for private functions. Was at the original location today and had my favorite, pimento cheese burger with fried green tomato and fried egg. Just divine!

Good list. The comments section at the bottom of that article is pretty hilarious; I recognize several names of people I knew in middle and high school.

Maple View Farms is more of a Carrboro/Central Orange Co. claim to fame but that's ok.

Went there for the first time tonight and it was so good. A great burger and they accommodated my asking for it wrapped in lettuce. Great onion rings and fried green tomatoes.
