Ha, I clicked this thread expecting to see some random pizza joint I've never been to and was going to come in here to talk about Randys
I've been to 3: TW Alexander, Miami Blvd, and I think Hope Valley Road in Durham? My favorite is Alexander, it truly is "real pizza". Tho a bit too much cheese and not enough song :P
It's cooked in a shallow pan, the crust is lighter and flakier. Different type of cheese blend, I think it involves some cheddar cheese. It tends to be insanely greasy. It usually doesn't flop over (gasp, I think I just offended all New Yorkers).
Much different than italian-style, but equally as amazing, if not more.
I've found nothing better than Salvio's, but I'm not a pizza snob.
I was going to try Randy's in Morrisville, but the yelp reviews were so horrendous that I skipped it.

Surprised to hear this. This location is 1 minute drive from where I work, go there frequently. Never had a problem with their service and they've never messed up an order. Delicious pizza.
I am doubtful. Randy's on Miami, despite having the same name as the others Randy's, is a totally separate entity. Only the names are similar, nothing else.
I am not from NJ/NY, but Randy's on Miami truly does have the best pizza in the area!
Let the tomato throwing commence!
I didn't realize that Randy's on Miami is, indeed, a totally separate entity from the other six Randy's. Somebody at the Miami store outta be shot for that little FUBAR. But we'll have to try that location, or maybe (God willing) they deliver to Brier Creek?
If you Yankees want "real pizza" please go back north. I hear it tastes better at 30 below!
Geez.
why are u so threatened by delicious pizza
