I see the cold is discussed, but nobody started a thread about the snow. I'll bite.

My prediction is that the gradient line will move west, and Raleigh will get 2+ inches. West will be less, east will be more. What are your predictions?

I'm hoping for a big snow, I'm just a big kid.....

I was just coming here to post the same thing!

How will I know when to buy soy milk and bread, if no one posts about the OMG BIG STORM COMING here?

(but I am hoping for 0" of snow, as usual)

I want warm and sunny. Apparently, I have to go to Alaska to get warmer temperatures.

I don't wanna talk about it. It's too depressing.

I wondered this same thing myself. But, I didn't want to start one. I'll tell you, though, it is annoying that GHHS said they'd fixed their boiler issues, but they really only fixed half of the boilers and the kids were freezing in class today. It would've been nice to warn people so they could dress accordingly.

It seems to moving more westward, but it will be a game time forecast like usual.

This is an all snow event right? No ice in the forecast at all - so driving in this should be a piece of cake compared to previous storms.

I think the storm will move more west and more snow.

I knew last night when the 10 p.m. news said they were still working on it that no way would it be fixed today. I actually thought they'd reverse the schedule today but once they shortened the class periods you knew the farce was up. They were gonna close early even without the early release.

My son loves it. He prefers the indoor temperature no higher than 65* and he's in shorts and a t-shirt.

As far as posting a thread, I've been too busy fielding all the various phone calls and texts from the schools!

If we're gonna be closed for the rest of the week (come on, you know it's happening) I'd just as soon we get a foot of snow!

P.S. Sun just came out, not sure what that's about.
