Look, Washington is the better team, but in seasons past the Canes stole a few playoff series from teams that were better. Tomorrow's game could be different if the Canes' top two lines can catch the Caps' 3rd and 4th lines on the ice and produce while they have the mismatch. I think the Canes have a good chance of winning at least one home game and sending 18,000 fans home happy.

A win tomorrow night, and the PNC will be crazed on Thursday.
Oh man I really hope Svechnikov learned a lesson tonight. It's okay to want to stand up for yourself but fighting is not a good idea. Also I don't know whats up with Ferland but he can't stay healthy. I don't think he'll be back here next season.
Other than that, tonight was great. Awesome crowd, awesome atmosphere, awesome everything. It's great to finally have playoff Hockey back in Raleigh.
I assume one or two callups from Charlotte (Necas? Saarela? Gauthier?) are packing bags already for a trip to Raleigh. Should know within the next few hours.

Probably not Nacas. I think if he plays one more game he has to re-enter the draft. That would not be good. Also he is a Center isn't he?
